One of my favorite things about being a mom is that I get a front-row seat to a life that’s constantly unfolding.

The funny phases.

The tiny habits.

The inside jokes that make no sense to anyone else.

The moments that feel small in the moment, but somehow end up meaning everything later.

As a photographer, I think I’ve always had an eye for moments. But motherhood sharpened it in a whole new way. It taught me that not every meaningful memory is dressed up or planned. Some of the best ones happen in pajamas, in the carpool line, or during a completely ordinary Tuesday afternoon.

And honestly? It’s kind of magical that we get to witness it all.

Even more magical is being able to look back on those moments later... not just remembering them, but seeing them. Reliving them. Hearing the voices. Noticing the expressions you forgot. Laughing at the things that felt so normal at the time.

That’s where my phone comes in.

Even as a professional photographer, I reach for my iPhone constantly. Because it’s always there. Because it lets me capture real life as it’s happening. And because some moments don’t wait for a camera bag. Hands down the best part of to 2020's is we all have cameras on us, ALWAYS.

Over the years, I’ve picked up simple habits and techniques that have completely changed the way I document my own family, and they don’t require fancy gear or complicated editing! Just a little intention and a willingness to slow down and notice what’s already in front of you.

That’s why I created my iPhone Photography and Videography guides.

These aren’t about perfection.

They’re about presence.

They’re about learning how to see moments as they’re happening, and capturing them in a way that feels meaningful.

Whether it’s a photo you stumble across years later or a short video that instantly brings you back, documenting your life is a gift you get to give yourself and your family.

If you’re a mom who wants to:

  • Take better photos and videos without overthinking it
  • Feel more confident using your smartphone camera
  • Capture everyday moments in a way that feels intentional
  • Enjoy looking back on your memories

These guides were created with you in mind.

Because getting to witness your life as it unfolds... and being able to reflect on it later, is something really special. And you don’t need anything fancy to do it and do it well.

Just your phone.

Your people.

And a little guidance along the way.
